[Finals Project Notes]
Mostly just writing down stuff for Final Project related stuff for the Academy, since I'm not exactly chasing to be a Pro Duelist.
Prayers:
“Behold the dance in darkness!"
"Behold the life that knows not death!”
"Behold the secret ever hidden from the sun!"
Disorganized Notes:
... There's a loose commonality among the 12 Dimensions of a recurring mother goddess figure.
Unlike Earth, whose mother goddesses/mother of many young are associated with water and earth/stone/clay, these goddesses seem to associate with the chaotic primordial abyss, known as the Sea of Souls, Ettosyleit, Khaos, Hundun or Ginnungagap, among various cultures in the 12 Dimensions.
And also, interestingly enough, these goddesses are Fire. Need more research, but commonality seems to be spark of knowledge from ignorance. Destruction causes rebirth and creation. Purifying flames.
Earth seems to associate Fire and Darkness with malicious intent, cruel figures. 12 Dimensions seems to be less inclined to make this association.
Amazonesses associate her with a great tiger or lion deep in the jungle. The first beast, a lion with a hide as hard as sky iron and dark as crimson blood, with a mane of green hair.
The Infernity, Dark Worlders and Fabled speak of a mother goddess in the form of Chaos Goddess, who seems to be connected.
Some hypothesize the legends of Knightmare Incarnation Idlee is associated with this, but she seems to go the path of a normal "Demon as destroyer" figure. Hard to reconcile.
Often these goddesses are associated with fickleness, temperamental behavior, moodiness, despair, changeable energy, but rarely violence, extremely slow to anger. It is often recommended to offer sweets or smoked meat to them to curry their favor.
On other hand, these goddesses also seem to be heavily associated with madness, women in their stories are often known to become vain or foolish after encounters with the Goddess, also more colorful unrecorded tales of men becoming very lovely looking women.
Comedy of Errors.
(Need to find more examples of godddesses!)
